Jack recently completed his tour with Hippiefest, also featuring Eric Burdon & The Animals, The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, Melanie, Badfinger featuring Joey Molland, and Jonathan Edwards. 

Jack is scheduled to perform with drumming legend and Cream sidekick Ginger Baker at Zildjian's Drummers Achievements Awards at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London on 7 December 2008.  Joining them onstage will be African drumming legend Tony Allen. Cymbal manufacturer Zildjian will mark its 385th anniversary at the event, which will include an honour to Baker and performances by some of the world's greatest drummers, including Simon Phillips, Steve White and Keith Carlock.  For ticket information visit www.ticketweb.co.uk. Rolling Stone magazine have published a review of the box set, Can You Follow.  Says David Fricke: "Can You Follow? is the best kind of rock memoir, a rich account in sound of Bruce’s pursuit of the bold and new — often, after Cream, at the expense of success. 'I never wanted to be a star,' he claims in the liner notes. 'I just wanted to make good music.' In that sense, everything here is cream."

Jack will perform with the BBC Big Band at Birmingham Town Hall on 14 November.  The concert will feature music from Jack's solo career, along with Cream classics including Smiles & Grins, The Consul at Sunset, Spoonful, Deserted Cities of the Heart, and Sunshine of Your Love.  The date is sure to be special for Jack, revisiting the Town Hall where he gave one of his first post-Cream concerts in November 1970.  Tickets are available through the box office on 0121 780 3333

Jack has agreed to perform the final set of the two-day Benefit for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Raleigh, North Carolina on 19-20 September. Jack will perform with members of the former John Entwistle Band in tribute to his friend and fellow bass guitar legend, the late John Entwistle.

A new six-CD retrospective of Jack's diverse career, spanning 1962 - 2003, will be available on 23 June (import only in the US).  The set includes a 68-page book with Jack's recollections and many photos.
