A digitally-remastered edition of Jack's 1983 album Automatic is available on CD for the first time. Never released outside of Europe, the album saw Jack explore the world of Electronic keyboards alongside his more traditional approach to music making. A solo album in the true sense of the word, Automatic was recorded at Pink Floyd's Britannia Row studios with Jack overdubbing most of the instrumentation himself.
Esoteric Records have issued Jack's 1980 album, I've Always Wanted to Do This, for the first time on CD in the UK. The album saw a unique collaboration between Jack and musicians Billy Cobham, Clem Clempson and David Sancious.
The Scottish journal The Herald have given a glowing five-star review to Jack Bruce, Robin Trower and Gary Husband's recent performance at Queen's Hall in Edinburgh: "To describe the Jack Bruce of Cream as a great singer now seems like a glib understatement. This is a man who has sung the words of Samuel Beckett, as well as buckets of blues and the resulting depth of character and sheer tonal range, already huge, appear still to be growing."
Jack's tour with Robin Trower and Gary Husband continues to go well. Please note that the performances on 26 July (Padova) and 8 August (Shrewsbury, UK) have been cancelled. Keep an eye on our website for further announcements about the tour.

Unfortunately Jack has had to cancel his US trip, as he has fallen sick. Happily, after resting at home he is now on his way to a recovery.

Says Jack: "I was in a coma for quite a long time, experiencing this other world that was very creative and I wrote music for it. Typical bloody musician — writing the music and words for these songs and doing arrangements in my head."
